By Meirion Jordan

Scurrilous wit, intellectual outrage, and linguistic light-footedness are all on show in De Excidio et Conquestu Britanniae - a poetic broadside issued from the depths of Britain’s history, Meirion Jordan’s latest poetry pamphlet spews back the frothing intolerance of modern political life in all its lurid colours.

Meirion Jordan is a poet and traditional musician from Wales. He has published two previous acclaimed collections of poetry, Moonrise and Regeneration, the first of which was shortlisted for the Felix Dennis Prize for best First Collection (Forward Prize). His work has been translated into a number of European languages, and he is a former Versopolis poet. He presently lives in Scotland, where he is starting the long process of recording his first album.
